THE HUNTERDON GIRLS BASKETBALL LEAGUE!

Winter Rec season is over!

Dear Players and Parents,

We wanted to take a moment to extend a congratulations to each and every one of you for a great inaugural season of the Hunterdon Girls Recreation league.

Throughout this season, we have witnessed progress and growth in the girls. Our primary goal was to create a safe and enjoyable space for girls to play basketball, have fun, and learn - and we are thrilled to say that we have achieved that goal. The role of recreation sports is to provide a positive and supportive environment for players to foster a love for the game. This season, we have seen a significant increase in participation, more than doubling the number of players from the previous year. Additionally, we are proud to announce that eight 5th and 6th grade girls have earned a spot on spring competitive teams, where they will continue to learn and grow in preparation for future basketball opportunities.

We want to express my gratitude to all the players, coaches, parents, and volunteers who have contributed to the success of this season. Your dedication, hard work, and support have been instrumental in making this season a memorable one for everyone involved. We hope to see all of you back on the court next year!
